Job Description The role of Managing Principal Solicitor is pivotal in leading and managing a team of solicitors within the Statewide Child Protection Litigation Office. The primary responsibility includes providing legal advice and support to child protection litigation matters in various courts. This high-level position plays a crucial lead role in staff management, while also providing practical strategic legal advice, conducting litigation, instructing lawyers, and appearing on behalf of the Secretary to various courts including The Children's Court Supreme Court VCAT related jurisdictions.
