At Carinya Lodge our journey began with a noble mission: to provide homes for widows of the war. Over the years, we've transformed into a registered Not-for-Profit Organisation and Charity, who own and manage a 60 Bed Residential Aged Care Facility and Retirement Village dedicated to serving our community.

What you'll be doing
* Assisting residents with their daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobilising
* Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and working with the broader care to report and document changes in residents health status
* Providing companionship and engaging residents in social activities and therapeutic programs
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to residents' care
* Providing professional and compassionate care that meets the high standards required by Carinya and the strengthened aged care standards
What we're looking for
* Relevant qualifications in aged care or personal care, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
* Demonstrated experience in providing personal care to elderly individuals, preferably in a residential setting, and exceptional attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, their families and the broader care team
* Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine commitment to promoting the wellbeing of, and advocating for our residents
* A strong commitment to safety, quality and the strengthened Aged Care standards
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate with nursing staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for your residents
* Current police check and working with children check (or willingness to obtain)
