RSL Queensland (RSLQ)
is the largest ex-service organisation in Queensland – providing practical support, assistance and camaraderie to veterans, current serving Defence members, and their families across the state and nationally.
This leadership role ensures the right support exists to strengthen the sustainability and enhance the capability and capacity of 10 District Offices and over 230 Sub Branches, statewide, by improving financial management, governance practices, and access to support services.
Key Accountabilities
Working alongside the General Manager, League Development to design and implement effective systems and processes to ensure consistent operational standards statewide.
Leading a small and agile team as you facilitate the identification and pursuit of grant-funding opportunities and guiding successful application outcomes.
Providing strategic advice to the General Manager on the sustainability of the network, to inform decision making.
Collaborating with the Head of League Development to ensure that identified emerging issues are addressed by engaging and utilising available resources organisation-wide.
Being the League Development lead for cross-functional initiatives.
