Testing and Commissioning Technician - Kalgoorlie

These are residential roles NOTFIFO. Only candidates willing to relocate to the Kalgoorlie region will be considered.A generous relocation package will be offered to suitable candidates including temporary accommodation in a modern and fully furnished unit (conditions apply).

The position:
Based in Kalgoorlie, you will be required to carry out testing and commissioning on a variety of electrical equipment including but not limited to transformers, switchgear, substations and protection devices.
Experience in the use of test equipment including Omicron / Baur / Flir devices is desirable but not essential.
Experience in mining and maintenance is desirable but not essential.
To be suitable for this position you require the following:
A current WA Electrical Workers Licence - essential
Current Police Clearance - essential - within 3 months
HV switching ticket is desirable
Working at heightsand elevated work platform isdesirable
Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills
Full working rights in Australia
You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
