Followmont Transport is seeking a dedicated and responsible Local HC Driver to become a key part of our PUD team. If you take pride in delivering high-quality work with attention to detail, this could be the perfect role for you! We are looking for a reliable individual to handle the safe pick-up and delivery of a variety of freight, including manual handling of parcel freight, all while adhering to our established rules and regulations.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Position: Full-time, Permanent
* Hours: Monday to Friday (guaranteed hours)
* Start Date: January 2025 start
* Location: Local deliveries within the Emerald region
* Responsibilities:
o Complete pickups and deliveries of general freight
o Safely and efficiently manage deliveries on time and in full
o Work in a steady-paced environment while consistently maintaining a high standard of safety and accuracy
o Adhere to established rules, regulations, and processes to ensure smooth operations

What You Need:
* Previous experience in a similar role in a structured environment
* Experience delivering to mine sites (including current inductions) would be advantageous
* Must hold a current HC or MC Licence
* Forklift Licence is desirable but not mandatory
* A professional mindset with a strong sense of accountability and commitment to meeting goals
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and criminal history check
