The Mater Hospital Mackay has a permanent part-time opportunity for a skilled professional to work within their clinical team. The working hours are flexible and open to discussion.
As a Clinical Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care in consultation with other healthcare professionals.
* Support staff on best practices for managing pregnancy care and improving outcomes for women in both antenatal and postnatal stages
* Work with the Nurse Unit Manager to implement strategies ensuring quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
* Provide clinical guidance, leadership, and education to members of the clinical team to ensure consistent implementation of improvement activities
Key responsibilities include:

To be successful in your application, you must have current registration as a midwife with AHPRA, post-graduate experience in midwifery, and advanced clinical competency.
