This role supports the Return to Work and Recovery Team with payroll processing including current weekly earnings, medical certificates and return to work plans. The position also involves providing workers compensation payroll advice to business managers and human resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Return to Work and Recovery Team with payroll processing tasks.
* Provide workers compensation payroll advice to business managers and human resources.
Essential skills and qualifications include:
* Strong people and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and case management skills.
* Demonstrated experience in payroll and compensation-related transactions, with strong knowledge of workers compensation legislation, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and proficiency in payroll systems and records management tools are highly desirable.
Requirements
1. Knowledge and experience in workers compensation legislation, obligations and practices.
2. Ability to provide expert advice on workers compensation payroll matters.
