Visualcom are looking for an experienced Signwriter for an immediate start.
This position is a full-time ongoing position based in Adelaide South Australia.
The Signwriter will be responsible for the following duties:
• Conducting site inspections
• Gathering client briefs
• Providing cost estimates
• Responding to requests for proposals
• Designing and planning sign layouts for production
• Creating and applying vinyl signage
• Managing color schemes
• Printing digital signs
• Installing LED technology in signs
• Performing vehicle wrapping
• Installing signage
• Operating CNC routers and laser cutters For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications/work experience:
• 2-3 years' experience in the sign industry as an installer and/or manufacturer
• Skills in vinyl application, vehicle wrapping, and sign installs
• Ability to read and follow drawings and specifications from our designers
• General knowledge of workshop machinery
• Drivers licence, white card, EWP licence
• Previous large format digital print laminating experience, is an advantage
• Ability to work unsupervised
