About the Role:
We're seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centered support to clients, including assistance with personal care, manual handling, and managing challenging behaviours.
* Provide support to clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Assist clients with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
* Promote independence, wellbeing, and inclusion for clients, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a respectful, caring team environment that prioritizes client needs.
What You'll Need:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A strong understanding of disability support principles and best practices.
* Experience working in aged care, disability, or mental health settings (desired).
* Availability for various shifts, including sleepovers.
* Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
