Are you an experienced hospitality professional looking for a dynamic role in the serene beauty of Milawa, Victoria? We're seeking a talented individual to lead a smaller team as the General Manager-Guest Houses & F&B at a charming 40-room property, complete with a restaurant and smaller function facilities.
**Role Overview**:
As the **General Manager-Guest Houses & F&B**, you'll be the driving force behind the property's success, overseeing all aspects of operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. This hands-on role requires a versatile individual who can manage day-to-day operations, lead a dedicated team, and uphold his/her commitment to excellence.
**Responsibilities**:
Manage the overall operations of the retreat, including guest services, housekeeping, and facilities maintenance.
Lead and inspire a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
Ensure the smooth functioning of the restaurant and smaller function facilities, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Foster a positive work culture, providing guidance, training, and support to team members.
Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for business growth and guest satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
Proven experience in hospitality management, ideally in a similar retreat or boutique hotel environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower team members.
Hands-on approach to management, willing to roll up your sleeves and assist wherever needed.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with the Milawa region and its attractions is advantageous.
**Salary**: Up to $100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
