Role
The Ward Support Assistant will provide a customer focused service to patients and relevant stakeholders of Alfred Health and adhere to all requirements ensuring the support services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner. The Ward Support Assistant will perform all scheduled and ad-hoc support tasks within a specific ward as required.

* Permanent position
* Part time and full time positions available (up to 76 hours per fortnight)
* Patient Services Assistant Level 1-2 (PS21 or PS25)
* Located at The Alfred

Essential Qualifications and Experience
* You must hold a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
* Ability and adaptability to participate in change
* Willingness to participate in training and education to improve skills for the role
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Desirable
* Background in ward support or similar position in a healthcare setting
