About the role
Are you excited by the idea of building smarter, safer and more connected rail networks for the future? Step into a role where your creativity and engineering expertise will help transform Perth's suburban rail system and regional passenger rail across Western Australia. As a Rail Design Engineer, you'll be hands‐on in shaping permanent way designs—alignments, earthworks, drainage and more—while contributing to projects that will improve the way communities travel for generations.
In this dynamic position, you'll prepare detailed technical and contract documentation, support procurement and tendering processes, and ensure our designs meet the highest safety and compliance standards. You'll work alongside passionate professionals, leading and mentoring project teams while building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. We value people who bring fresh ideas, a positive team attitude, and a commitment to delivering high‐quality engineering outcomes.

If you're someone who enjoys tackling complex engineering challenges, thrives in a team environment, and brings project management, communication and problem‐solving skills, we'd love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to grow your career, make a tangible impact, and be part of a supportive team working toward a shared vision for a better rail future.
