Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and safety‐driven MPU Operator to join our team at Jellinbah, QLD. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the role is responsible for operating Mobile Processing Units to manufacture and deliver bulk explosives safely and efficiently within an open‐cut mining environment. This hands‐on role is suited to someone who thrives in high‐risk, precision‐driven environments and takes pride in delivering work safely, accurately, and in line with strict procedures.
Responsibilities
* Operate Mobile Processing Units to manufacture and deliver bulk explosives safely and efficiently.
* Batch, load, and conduct quality control of explosives.
* Execute blast delivery in accordance with site requirements, blast designs, and legislative standards.
* Maintain procedural discipline and uphold Zero Harm principles.
Qualifications
* Current manual driver's licence.
* Dangerous Goods licence (or equivalent).
* RIIBLA201A – Support Shotfirer Operations.
* RIIBLA203A – Conduct Mobile Mixing of Explosives.
* Experience in MPU operations or explosives delivery.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to Zero Harm and procedural discipline.
