Overview:
We are seeking a professional Multi Combination driver to join our team on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a B-Double FH Volvo with tanker trailers, collecting bulk waste oil from various locations and disposing of it at designated facilities.
* Collecting bulk waste oil from Adelaide, Laverton and Bendigo
* Disposing of the collected oil at SOR - Wagga Wagga
* FOLLOWING APPROVED ROUTES AND LOAD TO VERIFIED LOAD PLANS
* Completing paperwork accurately and neatly – NHVR work diary, run sheets
* FOLLOWING JJ's Policies, Procedures and complying with HVNL at all times
* Reporting defects accurately and in a timely manner
* Working Monday-Friday with occasional scheduled Saturday or Sunday work
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A current Multi Combination licence
* Experience in operating MC line haul
* Previous bulk liquid/ tanker experience
* DG licence
* Ability to work productively with operations staff, customers and other driving team members
* Consistent commitment to safe work practices
* Willingness to travel away for up to 4 nights at a time and work 12-14 hours per day
* BFM accredited and ability to complete paperwork accurately and neatly
* Knowledge of heavy vehicle mass limits
* Ability to attend a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
* Willngness to provide a licence history report for last 10 years
* 1 Driver to 1 truck (where possible) Uniform and PPE
* Knowledge of modern fleet with microwaves and Icepak bunk coolers
* Understanding of speed limited vehicles
* External cameras fitted to prime movers
* Non-DG Oil handling
