Senior Occupational Therapist - Therapy Mentor Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge and empower others in the field of occupational therapy. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for supporting our team in delivering life-changing services and building capacity for both participants and colleagues.
* Work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
* Create therapy plans using evidence-based measurement tools and provide life-changing occupational therapy to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
* Be part of an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals who are committed to driving positive change for individuals with disabilities.
* Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports, including family, carers, and friends.
* Attend regular team meetings and collaborate with your Team Leader and other Therapy Mentors to achieve shared goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
* General AHPRA Registration
* Extensive experience in community-based and/or disability settings as an Occupational Therapist
* A positive and flexible approach to work
* Strong communication skills and a team player
* Commitment to personal and professional development
* Valid driver's license
* NDIS Workers Screening Check
* Working with Children Check
