In this role you'll work with a talented team of engineers, developing high‐quality software for impactful warehouse automation projects. Your solutions will come to life in real‐time and you will engage with clients directly during site commissioning. You'll help transform industries such as eCommerce, retail, manufacturing, exporting, parcel services and more.

Tasks and Responsibilities
* Design, implement and test software solutions for logistics‐related tasks.
* Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal application performance, scalability and maintainability.
* Integrate software systems and hardware devices into a cohesive logistics platform.
* Design and optimise database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
* Conduct unit and integration tests, debug software issues.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams.
* Create and maintain technical documentation for design, implementation and deployment.
* Assist in the creation of data visualisations and dashboards.
* Provide ongoing support and maintenance for developed applications.
* Stay up‐to‐date with the latest technologies and trends in software development and logistics.
Setting You Up for Success
* Degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
* 2+ years of professional software development experience.
* Honours graduate with project experience in C# .Net, SQL considered.
* Strong proficiency in a programming language (e.g. C#).
* Experience with database systems (SQL).
* Experience with version control systems (e.g. Mercurial, SVN).
* Understanding of software development best practices.
* Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Willingness and availability to travel to customer sites across the Asia‐Pacific region during site commissioning (up to 2 months at a time).
* Australian work rights: PR or Citizenship.

* Experience in the logistics industry.
* Mobile development (iOS or Android).
* Real‐time data processing.

* Collaborative team‐based development covering software, configuration, documentation, customer communication and support.
* Projects are implemented from start to finish, with on‐site commissioning by developers. They begin in the office and culminate in delivery on customer sites.
* Balanced travel ensures excitement without excessive frequency; development is engaging without being overly device‐level or abstract; team size is collaborative and manageable.
* Full‐stack development on a tech stack consisting of backend modules using C#, SQL, and configuration‐based building blocks. Includes C# full‐application GUIs and Blazor web. Mix of legacy and new development technologies. Control industrial hardware devices from a logical level.
