We are seeking a CNC machinist with milling skills that can set and program plus lead. As a CNC machinist - Leading Hand, you will support your CNC machinist team to achieve all production goals. And you will lead by example to make critical contributions to ensuring the excellence of products by following inspection protocols and detecting errors before products are released. Based in the Heidelberg area the successful candidate will be working alongside 15 plus trade qualified staff, Setting CNC lathes/mills - experience with Mori Seiki, Okuma, Doosan lathes and Fanuc Controllers ideal, Plus management of staff to facilitate setups including working with and supervising other members as and when required The environment is clean and consists of the latest CNC machine technology. The position is based in a company that is offering a clean modern workshop with onsite parking. Most staff have been with this company for many years. We need trades people that have the following skills: CNC Operating, setting and Programming experience. Excellent attention to detail. Trade qualifications. Excellent communication skills. Experience doing a variety of low volume machining. Pay rate will be based on skills plus super plus OT if desire. This is a long term permanent position.
