Seeking an experienced Stores Supervisor to lead warehouse operations, coordinate freight, manage inventory, and support a high-performing team.

The Opportunity:
An opportunity is available for an experienced Stores Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day coordination of stores and freight operations within a busy and dynamic environment. Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager, this role is responsible for supervising store personnel while ensuring efficient inventory control, freight coordination, and compliance with relevant operational and safety procedures.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Coordinating domestic and international freight movements including booking, tracking, collection, and forwarding requirements to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
* Supervising and supporting store personnel while prioritising workloads to maintain efficient stores operations and ensure all tasks are completed safely and accurately.
* Managing goods receipting, stock issues, and inventory control processes while maintaining accurate records within company systems and adhering to established procedures.
* Conducting periodic stocktakes and ongoing stock control activities to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with operational standards.
* Ensuring the stores function operates in line with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and security measures relevant to the operational environment.
Your Skills & Experience:
* Demonstrated experience in warehouse, stores, or freight coordination environments, ideally within a technical, industrial, or regulated industry.
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience with the ability to coordinate staff and maintain a productive team environment.
* Strong working knowledge of inventory control, goods receipting, and stock management processes.
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to manage domestic and international freight logistics, including booking, tracking, and shipment coordination.
* Forklift Licence and current Driver’s Licence.
* Dangerous Goods Certification (Air/Road) or the ability to obtain.
