Senior Tax Accountant Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented tax professional to take responsibility for all tax deliverables, statutory tax obligations, and arrangements across the Australian region.
* Prepare and lodge tax returns in accordance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and precedents.
* Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimise business outcomes.
* Provide all relevant tax inputs for financial statements
* Analyse financial data and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory tax obligations across the Australian region.
* Provide clear, practical tax advice to internal stakeholders across the business
* Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments to ensure ongoing compliance
This role requires:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* CPA/CA qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in tax accounting, preferably with public accounting or corporate tax.
* Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
