We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced highly organised Business Support Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee administrative and operational functions, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with Aged Care Standards.
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Business Operations you will have a key role in delivering exceptional administration, operational management, and customer service while ensuring smooth day to day operations of our Residential Aged Care Homes. You will work closely with senior leadership, clinical staff, corporate staff and external stakeholders to support high quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities
* Support administrative staff and assist with financial, HR, payroll, rostering and property related issues.
* Lead and streamline administrative processes, systems and workflows.
* Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting.
* Improve systems and processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
* Support the team development, onboarding and performance processes.
* Provide high level support with administration, operational business plans under the direction and guidance of the General Manager – Business Service -Operations.
* Ensure and monitor the effective delivery of contract services across all sites, ensure that the service schedules are efficient and delivering quality outcomes.
* Support with the implementation of appropriate policies, goals, objectives, and procedures in accordance with business plans.
* Establish and enhance, processes that support business performance key metrics and continuous improvement.
* Monitor occupancy trends against staffing capacity and resident acuity and identify and address variances.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Business Management
Skills
* Highly developed administration, business and operational skills.
* Strong planning, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise accordingly.
* Excellent communication, people management, interpersonal, problem solving and presentation skills including the ability to liaise with clinical staff, corporate staff and resident service managers.
Experience
* Previous experience working within an operational environment in a similar organisation, ensuring smooth service delivery and compliance with care standards
* Extensive experience in providing senior level support and proven track record of business partnering and stakeholder engagement.
