The Corporate Finance team sits within the Major Client Group (MCG) within BB and leads complex event-driven and transformational opportunities for mid-market customers in diversified industries with both private and public companies. Corporate Finance transactions usually involve debt lending requirements of $50m to $500m and the team supports & partners with a diverse range of businesses across Australia.
Do work that matters
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance your role will include financial analysis, modelling, structuring, and execution of complex financing opportunities as well as assisting with the ongoing development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive engagement and market growth.
More specifically you will
* Focus on structuring, analysing, preparing credit submissions and modelling complex financing opportunities as part of a dedicated front office origination team.
* Take ownership of transaction execution including deal structuring, legal documentation and process management.
* Support MCG network to identify and originate event driven finance transactions from within MCG's client base.
* Using your project management skills to support the delivery and execution of transactions within specified time frames.
* Prepare pitch packs, research and present to clients as well as attend to internal compliance requirements required to be a success in your role.
We want to hear from you if you have
* Previous experience in Banking or Professional Services (or similar type role) in a front office origination and transactional context.
* Highly developed research, analytical and financial modelling skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as an ability to present/speak to clients.
* Candidates with a degree in Commerce, finance or a related discipline who have had experience working in financial services will be highly regarded.
