As a WorkSafe Construction Inspector, you will attend a comprehensive training program in a supportive environment. Once appointed, you will spend a large portion of your time inspecting workplaces in the Construction Industry across the region.

* Work experience in the construction sector or related field is desirable (but not essential)
* A systems-thinking approach through experience and/or application
* Highly developed critical thinking, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* The ability to assess and investigate situations efficiently to make timely decisions
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, interpret, and apply legislation or technical standards in a regulatory capacity
* Proficiency in computer systems and technology
* Qualifications in OHS / or relevant industry / safety or trade experience is desirable (but not essential)
