Overview

An exciting opportunity awaits a motivated and creative Administration Officer to become a key part of Minimbah State School. In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our administrative functions. This temporary vacancy is open to Expressions of Interest and any extensions to this appointment will not exceed 12 months.

Minimbah State School, established in 1997, is a dynamic and inclusive school located in Morayfield near Caboolture, providing quality education from Prep to Year 6. The school focuses on academic, cultural, and sporting excellence in a respectful and supportive environment, with modern, air-conditioned classrooms and specialist facilities in science, music, dance, and drama.

Responsibilities

- Contribute to the day-to-day management support staff within the school, including identifying corporate service issues, coordinating recruitment and selection, induction and training of support staff, and providing Injury Management support for staff where necessary.
- Interpret departmental and school policies and guidelines to ensure legislative and procedural requirements are met.
- Assist the Principal/Executive Principal/Business Manager in identifying workforce needs, maintaining accurate records, tracking staff data, monitoring staff replacement, and ensuring all relevant compliance training is valid and current.
- Assist with the daily supervision of support staff by monitoring workloads, identifying skills needs, highlighting performance issues, and researching professional development opportunities for support staff.
