**Job Title:** Open-Cut Mining Heavy Diesel Fitter
A leading global OEM is seeking skilled fitters for an exciting opportunity in Tasmania.
This permanent role offers a 7:7 roster with camp accommodation and meals provided. The position involves carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance on open cut mining earthmoving machinery.
Candidates should possess a Certificate III mechanical trade qualification, as well as a strong aptitude for diagnostics and problem solving. To be successful, applicants must demonstrate excellent technical skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn new skills quickly and take ownership of their work. They will also have access to regular training opportunities to enhance their knowledge base.
