The Opportunity
This role will see you owning or supporting key categories across major grocery and retail accounts, working closely with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to drive growth.
Key responsibilities include:
* Building category strategies and identifying growth opportunities
* Lead or support category reviews with major retailers (Coles, Woolworths & others)
* Translate data into clear, commercially relevant insights and recommendations
* Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver NPD and go-to-market plans
* Develop compelling sell stories to influence internal and external stakeholders
* Support pricing, promotions and overall category performance
Essentially, you'll bring:
* FMCG experience within Category, Insights or Commercial roles
* Strong analytical capability (Nielsen, Quantium, IRI or similar)
* Exposure to major retailers (Coles/Woolworths highly regarded)
* Ability to turn data into actionable, compelling recommendations
* Confidence presenting to stakeholders internally and externally
* A proactive, driven mindset with a desire to grow
