Podiatry Specialist
Our organization is dedicated to delivering community-focused initiatives in partnership with the Northern Territory's largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service.
The Podiatry Specialist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering culturally safe podiatry services to Central Australia. This includes support in preventing, diagnosing and treating medical and surgical conditions of the feet, including bone and joint disorders, muscular pathologies and neurological and circulatory diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Hold tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Have experience in managing high-risk foot conditions.
* Demonstrate stakeholder management skills, including effective communication, relationship building and conflict resolution.
* Display an understanding of the allied health workforce and service delivery to remote communities.
* Be able to travel to and work in remote locations, including light aircraft travel.
* Hold a current NT driver's licence or have the ability to obtain one.
