The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to oversee the daily operations of our busy automotive service workshop.
You'll be responsible for coordinating workflow, monitoring technician productivity, and ensuring all repairs are carried out to the highest standard. You'll also work closely with our service advisors and play a hands-on role in mentoring technicians to deliver outstanding results for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate the day-to-day workflow within the workshop.
* Monitor repair progress and maintain dealership quality standards.
* Perform quality checks and provide technical guidance to the team.
* Collaborate with the service advisors and keep customers updated.
* Resolve issues quickly and minimise downtime.
* Lead by example and foster a positive workshop culture
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, or Supervisor in a dealership (highly regarded, not essential).
* Strong mechanical and technical knowledge of vehicle systems.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and leadership abilities.
* Ability to manage deadlines and work well under pressure.
