As a Lead Facilities Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving high-reliability and implementing industry-leading operational methodologies and technologies within our facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing, Maintaining, Implementing, or Improving Electrical and Mechanical Equipment, Facilities, Components, or Systems for Data Center Operations
* Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment
* Collaborating with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects
* Providing organizational leadership and technical oversight to facility operations and maintenance teams
* Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support/testing activities
* Compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies
* Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials
* Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation
* Working collaboratively with technicians
* Ensuring the final commissioning of facilities to meet customer requirements
* Maintaining electrical and mechanical infrastructure in newly constructed data centers
* Managing budgets and identifying capital expenditures opportunities
