Bakery Assistant Managers play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and driving sales growth in retail stores.


Job Responsibilities

* Lead by example, motivate bakery staff to provide outstanding customer service and promote fresh food products
* Tailor store displays and merchandising to meet local customer needs and preferences effectively
* Supervise bakery staff and provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance and productivity levels
* Collaborate with management to achieve business objectives and resolve operational issues efficiently
* Maintain accurate records and reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback for data-driven decision-making


Key Qualifications

* 3+ years experience in supervisory or management roles in the retail industry, preferably in a bakery or related environment
* A proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving business objectives successfully
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management
* Aptitude for problem-solving and analytical thinking to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
