The Opportunity:
Seven currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Camera Operator/Editor to join our dynamic and talented News Team in Mackay. We are looking for someone who possesses a high level of creativity and a camera/ editing style consistent with metropolitan television.
What you'll do:
Reporting to the Director of News, you'll be responsible for shooting segments and stories in various locations. In addition, this position will also require the editing of segments and stories.
What you'll bring:
You're an experienced Camera Operator/Editor with a drive and passion for high production quality standards and the ability to think clearly, communicate, and act quickly under pressure requiring minimal supervision. You're an exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal skill and the ability to form credible, productive relationships with reporters and producers. You'll also have:
* Experience in News and on-air operations.
* A willingness to travel at short notice to cover breaking news.
* Flexibility ability to work irregular hours. This position may require some on-call/out of hours work.
