We currently have an opportunity for the right person to undertake a Maintenance Fitter apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III Mechanical Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
In return, you will be exposed to and supported with:
* Scheduled service and repair work
* Unscheduled fault finding and repairs
* Pneumatic installations
* Pneumatic fault finding and repairs
* Stripping, assessing, repairing, assembling and testing mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipment
* Manual machine operation
* Assisting with root cause analysis investigations
* Providing troubleshooting advice and reliability solutions
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
* A genuine desire to become a qualified engineering trades person
* Have a strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
* Self-motivation with a positive work ethic
* Commitment to on and off the job training
* A willingness to learn and work within a team environment
* Strong commitment to WHS
* Driver licence and a reliable vehicle would be preferred
