Bid Manager
Opportunity
As our Bid Manager, locally referred to as Pursuits Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting major "must win and retain" opportunities across Oceania. Working alongside a Strategic Pursuit Leader, you'll manage the operational execution of pursuit activities, including project and proposal management, and help deliver high‐quality, client‐centric proposals that drive successful outcomes.
This is a hybrid position based in Naarm – Melbourne or Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
* Project manage the pursuit process for major opportunities, ensuring timely delivery of high‐quality, on‐brand proposals that meet client expectations.
* Collaborate with pursuit teams and internal stakeholders to develop compelling value propositions and client deliverables throughout the pursuit cycle.
* Coach and support engagement teams, sharing best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of pursuit activities across the business.
Skills and attributes for success
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise, set, and meet deadlines on concurrent projects.
* Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce persuasive, client‐focused content.
* Deep understanding of the design and production process, and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
Eligibility and experience
* 4+ years' experience in bid management or coordination (professional services experience favourable).
* Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and foster strong working relationships across teams.
* Creative skills and a growth mindset, with the ability to problem solve, show initiative, and adapt in fast‐paced environments.
* Experience coaching or mentoring others, and a commitment to sharing knowledge and best practice.
