As a leading provider of skilled trades and labour hire, we're working with reputable builders on major projects across Geelong and surrounding areas. As the construction industry continues to grow, we're looking to expand our team with hardworking Labourers and Qualified Carpenters.
About the Role
General Labourers day-to-day duties may include:
* General site cleaning and maintenance
* Skilled Labouring such as manual excavation, using power tools, demolition and concreting assistance
Candidates with proven experience and capabilities may be offered the opportunity to take on more advanced responsibilities, including working alongside trades, operating tools and machinery, and performing general tasks independently.
Qualified Carpenters day-to-day duties may include:
* Residential and Commercial carpentry tasks such as framing, lock up and fixing.
* Commercial fit out carpentry tasks including but not limited to aluminium framing and fit out.
* Formwork.
Requirements:
* Valid White Card
* Working With Children Check (highly desirable)
* Construction tickets eg EWP, Traffic, Spotters ect (preferred, but not essential)
* Certificate III in Carpentry (essential for qualified carpenters)
* Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
* Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
