Acknowledge Education is seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teachers to join our Early Childhood Education department as Placement Liaison Officers.
This role sits within the Academic Team and provides high-quality support to students throughout their professional experience placements.
Drawing on your industry knowledge and expertise, you will mentor preservice teachers, support their learning and wellbeing, and foster positive, professional relationships with early childhood services across the sector.
Your work will play a key role in ensuring that students meet placement expectations, experience meaningful professional growth, and are well prepared for the early childhood teaching profession.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate academic support, respond to student queries, and evaluate student performance in line with unit and accreditation requirements.
Organise student information sessions, deliver orientation presentations, and ensure that all liaison activities meet internal and external compliance standards.
Undertake scheduled service visits both in person and online to provide pedagogical, professional, and wellbeing mentoring to preservice teachers.
Support students in developing their pedagogical knowledge, reflective practice, professional behaviour, and confidence in early childhood settings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with early childhood services, mentors, and internal teams to ensure positive placement experiences and address any emerging issues.
Maintain accurate records, assess student progress, and identify or resolve placement concerns promptly and professionally.
Comply with organisational policies and participate in team meetings, moderation activities, and professional development.
Qualifications
About You
Will have aTeaching Qualification (Birth to 5; Birth to 8)
Recent experience working in ECEC (at least 2 years)
Valid Working with Children Check or willingness to Obtain (Unless you have a VIT Provisional Registration or Teacher Registration)
