The Role

This is a key role in our growth area planning team, where youwill provide planning advice and assess a diverse range of complexsubdivision and development applications. You’ll take thelead in managing exciting growth area projects, ensuringdevelopments align with the City of Whittlesea’s vision andhigh standards while meeting statutory requirements and communityexpectations.
About you
- You have great knowledge of the Planning andEnvironment Act 1987 and related planning legislation,regulation, standards, and case laws.
- You can effectively manage and process complex planningpermit applications.
- You have proven experience in providing professionalplanning advice.
- You can advocating and and representing cases before VCATand other public forums when required.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closelywith colleagues and stakeholders.
- You can live and uphold City of Whittlesea’s valuesto deliver great outcomes for our community.
