A rare opportunity has become available, we are recruiting for a Forklift operator, Warehouse storeman to join our dynamic team based in Burton SA.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will suit a focused individual who has experience operating both sit-down forklifts of varying capacities and high reach forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide warehouse and distribution services, including but not limited to:
* Operate lifting equipment
* Picking, packing and dispatching orders
* Unpacking palletized containers on a forklift
* Checking and labelling stock
* Loading and unloading of trucks
* Co-ordinate dispatch transport, traffic flow, and complete dispatch documentation
* Liaising with other departments to facilitate seamless operational efficiency
* Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the warehousing and distribution process
* Compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Policies and Procedures.
Experience & Skills
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of industry experience
* High Risk Forklift (LF) License
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* A collaborative work style
* An understanding of supply chain, linehaul & distribution
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
The successful candidate needs to be:
* Clean and tidy
* Punctual, reliable
* Have above average attention to detail
* Able to work unsupervised
* Have current forklift license
This is a full-time position with on-the-job training. Booth Transport provides a drug and alcohol-free workplace. You must be medically fit, have reliable transport, be able to pass a medical and drug test.
