Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will create exceptional culinary experiences and lead our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design diverse, seasonal menus, calculating food and labor costs, sourcing ingredients.
2. Assess dish quality during preparation and presentation to meet standards.
3. Collaborate with management and staff to improve food preparation and service.
4. Apply advanced cooking techniques and mentor kitchen staff.
5. Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to perfection.
6. Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained.
7. Participate in staff training and mentoring.
8. Monitor inventory and notify management of low stock.
9. Handle ingredients to maintain quality and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of culinary experience, preferably with managerial responsibilities.
* Strong culinary skills and creativity.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills in English.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards.
