In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that nurture students' curiosity, critical thinking, and overall learning potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator committed to inspiring a love of Humanities across the secondary years.The salary will be commensurate with the successful applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, based on the teaching salaries outlined in the Independent Schools NSW Teachers Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement **** ($90,100 - $127,281).
Key Responsibilities Planning and delivery of engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.Monitoring student progress through data analysis and assessment outcomes, using this information to inform teaching practices and interventions.Encouraging an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and fosters critical thinking among students.Liaising with parents, carers and guardians to promote understanding of the importance of Humanities education.
Desired Skills and Experience Required Skills Exceptional proficiency in Humanities subjectsDemonstrated understanding of Humanities syllabus documents and assessment strategies.Demonstrated excellence and proficiency as a classroom teacher.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.
Required Experience A minimum five years experience teaching Humanities at a secondary level is preferred.Appropriate Bachelor's degree in education or a related field and NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation.
