Are you a commercially savvy Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor looking to make an impact on a major infrastructure project in Adelaide? GFWA Pty Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team and support the successful delivery of our geotechnical and civil construction works.
About the Role
As a Contracts Administrator / Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing project costs, contracts, and commercial performance. Working closely with our Commercial Manager and site teams, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations. Communication via Aconex with Client.

Key Responsibilities
* Administer subcontractor and supplier agreements
* Prepare and negotiate variations, claims, and extensions of time
* Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates
* Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
* Support monthly progress claims and payment certifications
* Maintain accurate records and contractual documentation
* Participate in procurement and tender evaluations
* Advise on contractual rights and risk mitigation
* Liaise with project teams to ensure milestone compliance
Qualifications and Skills
* Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
* 3–5 years' experience in a similar role within civil or geotechnical construction
* Strong understanding of contract types (AS2124, AS4000, NEC) and construction law
* Proficiency in cost management tools and Microsoft Excel
* Experience with project management systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Jobpac) is a plus
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
