Process Assistant – Fulfillment Center, BNE1 – Day Shift
We're seeking an experienced Process Assistant to join our Fulfillment Center in BNE1 for Day shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and work in Inbound and other departments as required.
* Help support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties.
* Provide coverage for Area Managers.
* Follow up on policies and track attendance (duties do not extend to discipline).
* Track and report ATS/labor hours.
* Assist the floor as an associate resource, train associates and verify SOP compliance.
* Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance.
* Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity.
* Fully understand workflow and daily production goals.
* Assist in keeping work area clean and organized.
* Identify and address safety hazards within the work area.
* Coaching associates to work safely at all times.
* Refer all job injuries immediately to area manager.
Basic Qualifications
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
* Experience using computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Experience leading teams.
* Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
* Leadership experience directly managing others.
* Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement.
