The company Our client is an exciting fintech startup that provides a compelling, first-of-its-kind value proposition to the banking sector. The organisation has an exceptional founding team and is experiencing significant global growth. The role Reporting directly to the founders and working closely with Senior Management and the Board of Directors, you will bring the organisation's financial operations in-house and build a Finance team to support this. You will also play a critical role in providing strategic financial insights to guide decision-making and contribute to the organisation's growth. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and provide in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities and risks Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, provide detailed variance analysis and develop and implement cash flow management strategies Establish and implement robust internal controls, ensure compliance with all statutory, financial regulations and tax requirements and liaise with external auditors and regulators Contribute to strategic planning by providing financial insights and recommendations and identifying business efficiencies and operational improvements Build, manage and develop the finance team Ideal skills and experience Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - able to confidently partner with Senior Management, Board of Directors and non-finance stakeholders Relevant experience across financial control, FP&A and decision support Previous team leadership experience Experience in startup or growth stage organisations is highly regarded Tech/Fintech experience is highly regarded CA/CPA qualification What's in it for you?
