McArthur is partnering with leading not-for-profit providers to recruit experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists for permanent positions. Based in Bendigo, this role suits clinicians passionate about making a meaningful difference in community and hospital aged care settings.
You will work autonomously with older clients in their own homes, delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing.
The Role
* Deliver goal-directed, reablement-focused care to clients referred through My Aged Care
* Conduct home-based clinical assessments
* Attend a community centre to work with and supervise allied health staff
* Develop, review and implement care plans
* Assess for home modifications and assistive equipment
* Collaborate with clients, families, Team Leaders, Allied Health Assistants and PCAs
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
* AHPRA registration
* Demonstrated experience working with older adults, including dementia care
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage an independent caseload
* Availability for full-time hours (Monday to Friday)
* Knowledge of STRC, Post Acute Care and Transitional Care
* Understanding of CHSP and NDIS funding and referrals
