Reputable, busy council seeking a Surveillance Inspector to inspect maintenance works.

A culturally diverse and rapidly growing Local Government Council is currently seeking a Surveillance Road Management Inspector to provide the inspection and maintenance to the extensive network of concrete pathways, kerb and channel to designated Road Management Plan. This is an initial 6-month contract role with the opportunity to extend.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Coordinator, your day-to-day responsibilities will be:
- Physically inspect, measure and marking, council's footpath and kerb and vehicle crossings for crossing works.
- Customer request inspections and record the defects of Council's footpath and kerb and vehicle crossings assets that exceed the current RMP intervention.
- Lift and install standard warning signs, barricades, bollards etc. and lift repair materials to OH&S standards.
- Report the progress and value of allocated and approved works each fortnight.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have a vast range of experience and knowledge in the inspection, construction and maintenance of footpath and kerb assets. You will also have proficiency with using Confirm as well as Traffic management (implementing Traffic Management Plan).
