Full time position (38 hours per week)
Working 40 weeks during school terms including curriculum weeks per year, plus ad hoc (planned) work
during non – school terms.
This position is expected to start during October 2025

This position includes a traineeship under an Apprenticeship Program, providing formal training and on-
the-job experience leading to a nationally recognized IT qualification
Duties:
Act as the primary point of contact for IT support requests, logging and prioritising issues based on
urgency and impact.
Perform initial troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues for staff and students, including
software, hardware, and network-related problems.
Maintain clear and timely communication with end-users, providing updates and ensuring a
positive support experience.
Document all support requests, resolutions, and procedures in a comprehensive knowledge base
for future reference and analysis.
Work Closely with the external IT service provider to escalate issues, monitor progress, and assist
with the implementation of solutions.

Reliable and able to work independently once trained
Desirable:
Knowledge of Windows, Office 365, Google Workplace and other Google products, Apple IOS/MACOS and
general IT troubleshooting
