- Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Gawler Health Service
- Position based at Gawler
- Salary:
- RN/RM1 $74,831 - $102,103 p.a (pro rata) + superannuation + leave loading + salary sacrifice perks
- RN/RM2C $87,416 - $110,497 p.a (pro rata) + superannuation + leave loading + salary sacrifice benefits

- More than one permanent part time position available (FTE to be negotiated)

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Join our busy and friendly operating theatre team and make a difference in surgical care! We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse / Registered Nurse with experience or strong interest in perioperative nursing, including day surgery, anaesthetics, scrub, scout, and recovery. You will be part of a supportive team with a management approach that values work-life balance, ongoing learning, and professional development. This role offers exposure to a variety of surgical specialties and the chance to participate in our on-call roster, including one weekend in six and weeknights for obstetric emergencies. Classification will be RN1 or RN2 depending on your knowledge and experience, with ongoing support for education and career growth.

Gawler Health Service provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services to patients from Gawler and surrounding communities including the Lower North and Barossa Valley. Gawler Health Service has two Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialists, a senior specialist doctor, and Midwives ensuring 24-hour a day high-quality care. HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

- Provide person-centred nursing care and individual case management for preoperative patients, with increasing autonomy over time.
- Plan, coordinate, and collaborate with other disciplines or agencies to meet individual patient health care needs.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, contributing to patient safety, risk minimisation, and safe work practices.
- Support and mentor students, new staff, and graduates, and provide guidance to less experienced staff as required.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

- You will be required to hold registration with AHPRA to practice as a Registered Nurse within our organisation.
