Your new role
The client requires a PMO Manager - Coordinator Governance Capacity & Planning for the transformation of Oracle to TechnologyOne project. This person will have a team of 10 reporting into which includes Project Managers, procurement and risk analysts.
Accountabilities
* Accountable for the supervision of the implementation of Council's IT Asset Management (ITAM) and operational planning processes.
* Support data strategy and data governance.
* Support Organisational strategies through longer-term planning of the Department portfolio with consideration of business needs and technology service resourcing profiles.
* This position involves providing a strong, creative and effective input into the strategic planning functions of the Department and support in organising and managing resources to achieve the Department's Work Program.
* Provision of advice on a range of governance issues including planning and measurement methodologies and procedures.
* Skills in managing time, setting priorities and planning and organising one's own work and where appropriate that of other employees so as to achieve specific and set objectives in the most efficient way possible within the resources available and within a set timetable despite conflicting pressures.
What you'll need to succeed
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Commerce, Business or other relevant discipline together with several years of relevant experience; or higher formal post graduate qualifications in either management or field of specialist expertise with some relevant specialist experience.
* Demonstrated experience in Project Management and Business Analysis and/or continuous improvement methodologies.
* Demonstrated extensive experience working as a member of a leadership team, including demonstrated experience in leading, managing, developing staff, conducting performance development plans and implementing HR policies and procedures.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and monitor expenditure within budget allocation and plan and successfully implement projects.
