Bayswater Child Care Association (BCCA) is a long-established, community-based not-for-profit delivering high-quality early learning and care services, as well as family support services, to children and families in the City of Bayswater.
We are seeking an experienced GM/CEO to lead the Association's strategy, performance and long-term sustainability.
The Role
Reporting to the Management Committee (Board), the CEO provides strategic leadership and executive oversight across all operations. This role is responsible for organisational performance, governance, compliance, financial sustainability and stakeholder engagement.
You will work closely with the Board to set direction, manage risk and ensure the Association continues to deliver safe, high-quality and compliant services.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of strategic and operational plans
* Oversee all operations to ensure alignment with the Association's purpose and values
* Provide high-quality advice and reporting to the Board, including on risk, compliance and legislative change
* Ensure services comply with the National Quality Framework and Education & Care Regulations
* Lead financial management, budgeting, forecasting and asset protection
* Foster a positive, accountable and high-performance culture
* Lead and support senior managers to deliver effective workforce planning and performance outcomes
* Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, local government, community partners and families
* Act as the key external representative and spokesperson for the Association
About You
You are a capable, values-driven executive leader with experience in complex, regulated environments. You bring a balance of strategic leadership and operational discipline, with strong people and stakeholder management skills.
You Will Bring
* Senior leadership experience, ideally in not-for-profit, education, community or care-based organisations
* Proven experience working with Boards and strong governance capability
* Sound financial and operational management experience
* Knowledge of the early childhood education and care regulatory environment is highly desirable
* Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills

* Declaration of Fitness and Propriety (ACECQA)
* Current Driver's Licence
