Our team collaborates across disciplines (OT, psychologists, educators, etc.), coaching families and embedding therapy into daily life.We are now seeking a passionate Speech Therapist to join our growing team and help shape how we deliver early intervention in Dromana.The Role & What You'll DoProvide speech, language, social communication, assessment and intervention for young children 3-10 yearsUse a holistic, family-centred approach: coach caregivers, embed strategies in natural environments, support generalisationWork within a transdisciplinary/collaborative model, liaising with OTs, behaviour support, educators, support workers, and other professionalsSupport augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) where requiredWork onsite at our studio in Dromana or outreach in childcare / early education settings, or community settings (as required)Maintain clear and timely documentation, progress reports, and collaborate in goal setting with familiesContribute to staff meetings, case reviews, supervision, and professional developmentBe flexible and responsive to changing caseloads and family needsWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology / Speech Therapy (or equivalent)Registration/membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or relevant body)Demonstrated experience (or strong interest) in working with young children with developmental delays or disabilitiesCommitment to family-centred, capacity-building, holistic interventionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in coaching caregiversAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environmentStrong organisational and time management skillsDesirable / AdvantageousExperience or training in AAC, dysphagia, and early communication interventionsExperience working in early childhood, special education, or community servicesBenefitsBase Salary: Competitive, depending on experience + superannuationAdditional BenefitsProfessional developmentFlexible working hours (for Part Time where possible)Opportunity to shape service deliverySupportive team culture
