Overview
Join a hospital and retail pharmacy role delivering high-quality pharmacy services across retail customers and hospital patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient clinical pharmacy services to a clinical area.
- Conduct medication history interviews, medication reconciliation and pharmaceutical reviews at transfers of care.
- Ensure efficient dispensing and distribution of medication.
- Conduct therapeutic drug monitoring, monitor medication outcomes and adverse drug reaction management.
- Provide medication counselling and education to patients.
- Work cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams and provide advice about patient care.
- Contribute to training and educational sessions for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff and allied health professionals.
- Support the quality use of medicines by participating in projects, audits, working groups or committees as required.
- Consider financial implications of medication use in hospital and for patients obtaining medicines in the community.
- Contribute to on-call and weekend services.
About You
You’re a registered Pharmacist with at least 1-year of practice experience, ready to take the next step in your career. Hospital experience isn’t required as comprehensive training is provided to support your transition. Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering exceptional care are essential.
Essential Requirements
- Pharmacist Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA), with no restrictions on practice
- Permanent Australian working rights
- Minimum 1-year Australian Pharmacist experience
- Personal Indemnity insurance

- Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
