**Research Admin Coordinator - Dermatology**
- ** Full Time Permanent opportunity working 80 hours per fortnight**

- The Dermatology Research Unit at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is one of the major Dermatology clinical trial centres in Australia. It is part of RMH Dermatology, the tertiary referral centre for North-Western Melbourne and rural Victoria. We are currently running over 20 clinical trials for inflammatory and autoimmune skin disease as well as non-melanoma skin cancers. The team includes Acting Head of Research A/Prof Gayle Ross, senior Dermatologist Principle Investigators, Research Nurses, Doctors (Clinical and Trial Fellows) and admin staff.
**Your new role**
- The team at the RMH includes Associate Professor Gayle Ross, Head of Clinical Research, Principal Investigators, Research Nurses, Clinical and Trials Fellows, a Fovernance and Finance Coordinator and works closely with the team of the Royal Melbourne Hospital Office for Research.
- Our research group collaborates with other centres in Australia and overseas in multi-centre research projects.
- Be involved in all administrative aspects of clinical trial activity, including communication with trial sponsors and the RMH Central Office for Research, maintain patient records whilst delivering a customer focused service to research patients, help with managing participant databases and preparing relevant Ethics submission and paperwork.
**About you**
- Highly developed computer-literacy and ability to work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of research principals, methodologies and processes
- High level of reliability and professional conduct
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and how a clinical trial study operates
- Developed problem solving and prioritisation skills
- Extensive experience in venepuncture
